Introduction

The Master’s program in Oncology, Hematology and Nuclear Medicine provides training in the understanding, investigation, and treatment of cancer through a multi-scale approach (from the single cell to the whole organism) and a strongly interdisciplinary perspective (Oncology, Immunology, Targeted Therapies, Bioinformatics).

It explores all stages of tumor ecosystem development, in both solid tumors and hematological malignancies, and places particular emphasis on advanced medical imaging techniques that enable non-invasive modeling and mapping of tumors through whole-body multimodal imaging (PET-MRI, innovative radiopharmaceuticals, etc.).

The program also addresses current and emerging therapeutic challenges, particularly targeted therapies, immunotherapies, as well as therapeutic nuclear medicine and theranostic approaches applied to a wide range of solid and hematological cancers.

The OHNU Master’s program is affiliated with the CRCI2NA research laboratory.

Students personalize their academic pathway by orienting it toward clinical research, experimental research, or Omics data research and analysis.

Experimental Research – Aimed at students wishing to pursue careers in academic research or biomedical industry research.
  • This track develops key skills in scientific methodology, experimental techniques, and critical data analysis in biomedical sciences.
  • It emphasizes experimental design, mastery of laboratory tools, and rigorous interpretation of scientific results.
Clinical Research – Aimed at students who want to transform today's knowledge into tomorrow's treatments
  • This track develops the skills required to understand pathophysiological mechanisms, design and conduct clinical studies, and evaluate new treatments or medical devices.
  • It places strong emphasis on clinical trial methodology, clinical data analysis, and health regulations.
Omics Data Research and Analysis – Aimed at students wishing to specialize in bioinformatics and omics data analysis.
  • This track develops expertise in exploring complex relationships between genes, proteins, metabolites, and other biomolecules.
  • It emphasizes multidimensional approaches, advanced computational tools, and the integrative interpretation of omics data.

Why joining our master ?

  • This Master’s program stands out for its excellence, interdisciplinary approach, and strong focus on cutting-edge innovations in oncology, hematology, and nuclear medicine, addressing the current challenges of the field.
  • Career-oriented, it includes internships — notably international placements — as well as personalized mentoring to guide each student according to their professional goals toward clinical research, experimental research, or high-throughput data analysis.
